Beatitudes Campus opened the Virginia G. Piper Residences in the early part of 2011 to address the needs of those with some memory loss and the early stages of dementia. Like the services provided in our advanced dementia program, residents will receive specialized care that is person-centered and based on the latest approaches in the field. Residents can choose a private or semi-private studio to call home. And activity programs are designed in a social, fun atmosphere to stimulate cognitive function and are tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident. Focus is placed on honoring a resident’s individual abilities, with a focus on opportunities for independence with just the right amount of support.

All Inclusive Services:  (No extra charge)

• All utilities paid
• Basic cable television and local telephone service
• Three meals daily
• Caregivers on-staff 24 hours/7 days a week
• Weekly housekeeping services
• Weekly linen, towel and personal laundry service
• Resident paging, direct response system and crisis intervention
• Licensed nurse on staff to monitor and coordinate care needs
• Monthly weight and blood pressure checks
• Social, spiritual and recreational activities
• Medical appointment transportation within a 10-mile range

Additional Services: (Dependent upon assessment prior to move-in)

• Scheduling of transportation
• Medication management and administration
• Medication delivery and refill coordination
• Assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Coordination or provision of intermittent nursing services
• Reminders for dining and activities
• Escort service to dining room and activities
• Assistance with transfers
• Two hours safety checks
• Incontinence care, with enhanced personal laundry and housekeeping
