Beatitudes Campus continues its special topics educational series entitled First Wednesdays at Beatitudes Campus. The series will offer Phoenix residents an opportunity to visit our community and hear about various topics including organic gardening, specialty cooking, health and wellness, arts and culture, nature, geology, travel, healthcare and new technology. The campus has created the educational series to serve as a resource to the broader community.
On November 2, 2011, we invite David Ramirez, Phoenix Sky Harbor’s Public Information Officer, to provide an update about the new Phx "Sky Train" for our next First Wednesdays event from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Town Plaza Bistro at Beatitudes Campus located at 1610 W. Glendale Ave., in Phoenix.
Get an update about the Sky Train, which is actually not a train but rather an automated vehicle with tires that travel on a fixed guideway and uses equipment and technology distinct from light rail. This design is fairly typical of intra-airport transit systems around the world. Learn about this and more at the event!
Light refreshments will be served. There is no charge to attend and sessions are open to the public. Please RSVP by clicking here before Tuesday, November 1, 2011. For more more information call 602-995-6100.
