The Beatitudes Campus, a continuing care retirement community in north central Phoenix, continues its special topics educational series entitled First Wednesdays at the Beatitudes Campus. The series, free to the public, will offer Phoenix residents an opportunity to visit our community and hear about various topics including organic gardening, specialty cooking, arts and culture, nature, travel, health and new technology. The Campus has created the educational series to serve as a resource to the broader community.
The next session, Pathways in the Brain, will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Town Plaza Bistro, located at 1610 W. Glendale Ave. in Phoenix. Educational Researcher, Patti Phillips, will share some new ideas about the brain and aging to include neuroplasticity and strengthening key neural pathways in the brain.
