Event: First Wednesdays Presents Ken Bennett

PHOENIX – The Beatitudes Campus, a continuing care retirement community in north central Phoenix, continues its special topics educational series entitled First Wednesdays at the Beatitudes Campus. The series, free to the public, will offer Phoenix residents an opportunity to visit our community and hear about various topics including organic gardening, specialty cooking, arts and culture, nature, travel, local and state topics and new technology. The Campus has created the educational series to serve as a resource to the broader community.

The next session, Understanding the State Budget, will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Town Plaza Bistro, located at 1610 W. Glendale Ave. in Phoenix. Arizona Secretary of State, Ken Bennett, will cover the building blocks of the Arizona State budget, presented in a fun and visually interesting way!
