Event: "American Scene," A Visual History of Portraits and Landscapes

The Beatitudes Campus is partnering with The Phoenix Art Museum for an art speaker series for the month of March 2011. The art series, free to the public, will provide the community an engaging presentation by Phoenix Art Museum docent speakers, who will illustrate their informative talks with colorful images. This is Session 3:

Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. - A presentation of a visual history of portraits and landscapes entitled, "American Scene." It will be presented by docent speaker Irene Wood and her talk will focus on art images from America's early beginnings through the early 20th century including portraits of George Washington, well-known landscapes and modern American cities. Everyone is welcome to attend this presenation - bring a friend!
