Did you attend our inaugural Power of the Purse Cocktail Party and Auction in May of 2011? If you did, thank you! If you could not attend, you sure missed one amazing party! More than 300 supporters helped to make this first year fund-raiser a huge success, bringing in about $90,700 to benefit the residents of Beatitudes Campus.

The Beatitudes Campus Women’s Council is gearing up for Power of the Purse 2012, which will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Beatitudes Campus. This year’s event is expected to be just as fun and festive, with even more posh purses and exciting celebrity handbags!      

Do you have a new or gently-loved designer handbag to donate to the event? Donate purses by April 25^th at the Beatitudes Campus administration desklocated at 1610 West Glendale Avenue in Phoenix.

Dollars raised for Power of the Purse 2012 will support our Resident Assistance Fund, serving seniors  who’ve outlived their resources, by no fault of their own, and are facing an uncertain future that might mean leaving the place they call home. Funds will also address the needs of older adults living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias.
