Changing Seasons, Life Transitions

Autumn is one of the most beautiful seasons in the year.  Nature in its entire splendor presents us with an array of blazing colors amongst its trees and flowers against a soft powder blue sky and rivers that flows of turquoise to navy blue.  An artist’s palette cannot begin to compete with natures true colors.

As the season transitions from summer to fall, it reminds us of changes in life as we live it. Transitioning from the old to something new is a time to be revered.  It is a time to release the fragrance of fading flowers and look forward to new beginnings of the next season; keeping within only memories of yesterday.  And, so it is with aging through life. When we retire or transition from career work, it is time to re-set the barometer, prepare for a change, and take quantum leaps toward a new life style of choice formed according to your hearts pre-designed plan.

The pen is in your hand to write your wish list of things you’ve always wanted to accomplish but never had the time. Remember, this is your life and you’re in complete control of your time, space and future.  It’s important to write a plan for living a life of purpose and meaning to insure joy and happiness on life’s journey.  Reflect on the milestones that mattered in your life. And along the way, take time to smell the flowers, inhale fresh air and show kindness to others.

The choice is yours to gather new friends and seize opportunities from all dimensions as you transition into the second and third stage of life.  Explore and do what matters most to make a difference for others as part of your personal destiny.  Remember, there’s only 1,440 minutes each day and time passes quickly. Below is a fun reminder about using our time wisely. What will you do with your minutes in your bonus years?

60 Seconds
I have only just a minute,
Only sixty seconds in it.
Forced upon me, can’t refuse it.
Didn’t seek it, didn’t choose it
But it’s up to me
To use it.

I must suffer if I lose it.
Give account if I abuse it
Just a tiny little minute,
But eternity is in it.
